I tried!

Well faithful readers...I had one HECK of a new blog posting ready to rock...when my husband caught a glimpse of what I was writing about and told me to "sit on it" for a few days. So, much to my chagrin...I saved it as a draft and waited to post it. Sure enough. It was not blog-appropriate. Thank you, husband, for serving as a filter. It just may be a little too personal for former students, some family members, and certain co-workers to read about. *Sigh*

So, I leave you with this...Baby Boobies! Aren't they great?

P.S. If you're a faithful reader and you wanna read my post...I'll email it to ya! :c)

Funnies

She didn't even know were were watching......but obviously something was really interesting in these Funnies...so Jeremy stood in the kitchen and kept snapping pics with his phone.
Here's the result:

You'd never know the girl can't read.

Table for Two

Margaret and I enjoy our time together in the summers. We especially enjoy eating times. Well, I say "we" but it's probably more "me" than "we." I've posted many-a-post centered around eating times...like here, here, and here. It's just a sweet time where I have Margaret's undivided attention and she has mine. We talk without the interruption of the tv or the distraction of the items we're playing with (her--toys, me--computer).

Here's my Margaret enjoying said lunchtime.

As you can see, this summer I found myself taking pictures with my phone an awful lot. I liked snapping a cute face Ross was making or capturing a moment shared by sister and brother. So of course, our eating times were no exception to the picture taking. However, our special lunch times got even more fun this summer...not because of the picture taking...but because of the way our food came to us on the plate. Picture taking allowed us to be able to email our pics to daddy right away so that he could enjoy the silly faces we were devouring.

And now, I share them with you!

Pointy pickle ears. Blackberries for the eyes. Turkey rolls for the smile.

The Margs likes this...

The tortillas make a nice feathered hair style in this next shot...pulled off to the side by a tortilla chip bow. Please notice the bangs.

My lunch with a tortilla sailor cap.

Margaret, still in her jammies and sporting her VBS necklace, approves of this plate creation.

Halfway through this meal she asks me if she finishes all her food could she PLEASE have some lettuce. Why sure thing, Margs...

What's a lunch creation without a quesadilla kitty cat?

Approval is granted. Quesadilla kitty cat is discussed for days post-lunch.

And our most recent creation enjoyed just today features Margaret's new love--relish. She calls them the little pickles and requests a spoon to aide in her consumption. I love her.

**Please do not judge me for the types of food I feed my kid. Please note that a fruit is eaten at every meal (except for the cat day??) and that we do not always have chicken nuggets--but they do make for a lovely picture.
