I went back to work last week Monday, right? Guess who called at 8:30 that morning? The Children's Center. They needed a little girl for the two year old class. Would I be interested? After many tears, I went to talk with Margaret's babysitter and tell her what just happened. She thankfully told me that I needed to do what is best for my baby girl and that she wouldn't be mad at me if I take Margaret out of her care. This sweet lady, who has been a huge blessing in my life (that's a blog for another day...she really has been a blessing), was so kind and loving and willing to let me put my family's needs first. I praise God for her.
Anyway...back to the story...MARGARET'S IN SCHOOL!!!
Here is the family on the Margs's first day...
sorry she doesn't look at the camera most of the time.
Here is Margaret enjoying the sand table before we had even left.
She was so "into" the room and all it's many wonders.
And here is Margaret now...four days into pre-school and she tells us, "Momma, Dadda, my future is so bright...I just gotta wear my shades." And, apparently she also meant to say, "And pick in my diaper since that's right where my hand is going." Gross. (That's a story for another day as well...maybe I'll put that one on the mom blog once we get that going...remind me to tell you what Dr. Wheeler said...).
And yes, it's right after breakfast...that's why there's no clothes. We're going to have to break that habit at some point, I reckon.
More school stories will be forthcoming, I'm sure...

Sarah, we need to see a pic of the kaleidescopes (I sure hope I spelled that right) that Margs shoves in your eye each day.
That bottom picture is CLASSIC. Destined to be in a slideshow at her rehearsal dinner one day. What sass.
Yay for big school! I know she'll have a blast! Love the last picture too!
BTW, we see Dr. Wheeler too. Remind me to tell you how he cracked us up last week!
How fun! Looks like she already loves it.

Sarah, yeah for the Margs...she'll have to show Gwen around next year when she comes for pre-K!!! I'm so glad this has all worked out for you...did you cry? Because I'm almost crying just thinkikng about YOU dropping your baby off!!!
Oh and soooo glad to know that you are going to Dr. Wheeler, he's the BEST! If he wanted more kids, I'd have his baby...he's that amazing:)
Angie...that will be way fun when Gwen is there! I will have a friend in the two year old class next year (Margaret's boyfriend)...so we'll feel pretty popular, I bet. Maybe Margaret will be voted Harvent Queen for Homecoming.
