I Help Momma

I am standing in the kitchen putting something away...cannot recall just what...when I notice Margaret over by the napkin holder. I glance up and tell Margaret to stop messing with the napkins but am overall engrossed in my own agenda. The next time I look up I see that there is now a napkin at daddy's place, a napkin kind of at mommy's place, and a napkin at Margaret's place. Also, there's a purple shovel. I stop what I'm doing and kind of stand back. I want to see what her next move is...she's on her way to the silverware drawer. I grab the camera and enjoy the show:

Precious, right? She's my big helper. Too bad it wasn't a meal time nor did we need so many spoons. What'd she think we were going to eat?? Soup and then ice cream?!? Come on, let's get real, here, people.

So cute! Maybe she was going to cook you a big multi-course meal after she set the table?

Could she come over and teach Graelyn?

Maybe she is just used to the 5 course meals and that is why there are so many spoons and forks.

Good job taking pics, by the way. This is just too precious of a moment--how cool that you have it captured!

My niece is the cutest! Maybe she thought you were having pudding and applesauce!

Laura and KJ...if Margaret was interested in five-course meals it probably would come from her cooking--not mine. I cook almost everynight...but she cooks like four times a day. She loves to turn on the burners to her kitchen and announce, "I cook!" She then brings me a variety of meal options...like potato and meat patty in a cup with a spoon. Yummm.
