I love Diet Coke so much. When I am sad, I think about how I need a Diet Coke to ease the pain. When I am in a great mood, nothing tops it off like a Diet Coke. A big Diet Coke from McDonald's with the fat straws is a delight to me.
The only other beverage that even comes close to this is Dr. Pepper. It could easily replace all the "Diet Cokes" in the above paragraph. However, sometimes its sweet-goodness is not quite what I want to enjoy at the moment. I never have that problem with Diet Coke. It always sounds good.
Therefore, Diet Coke wins first place and Dr. Pepper wins second place in my heart. I just wanted you to know.

I share your passion for Diet Coke. Dr. Pepper? Not so much, but to me, Diet Coke = happiness forever. :)
Holy Cow, Jac...I just checked out your blog (because I didn't see your pic at first and didn't know who Create Joy Design Team was) and saw that you follow Simply Simmons! Jana is the PE teacher at one of my schools. HOW DO OUR LIVES KEEP INTERTWINING?!?!? Crrrraaaaa-zaaaaay.
Glad you like DC...sad you don't know the joys of DP.
If anything ever happens to Chris, I'm marrying Diet Coke.
I feel this way about Diet Dr Pepper. Sometimes I fantasize about having Diet DP hooked up to an IV. I'm THAT crazy about it.
Oh, and the time stamp is deceiving. I'm definitely not posting this from the computer lab ;)
I feel this way about Pepsi however he is like that bad boy guy that you want to date but shouldn't. So instead I chose his respectable, better for me brother Diet Pepsi and I love him but sometimes...well, I am unfaithful to Diet Pepsi. Scandalous!
How could you possibly mess with Diet Coke by getting it at McDonald's???? Their cups are flimsy and get soggy quickly. And their ice...don't even get me started on their big fat ice. No, sir. Sonic is the only way to go. Crushed ice. Styrofoam cup. Nice straw. That's the way you should treat a Diet Coke.
Oh Jenny...I am so sad for your very wrong opinions. The large drink from McDonalds comes in a handy styrofoam cup...the ice to beverage ratio at McD is perfection (I do not like the Sonic ice--there's too much of it and it's too constraining), and their straws are extra thick...so you get extra the enjoyment with each sip. Ahhhhhhh. We should start a poll.
Now, that is where my McDonald's love affair ends. There are only a few items that I will eat from there...but large drinks? That will always be my favorite stop!
Laura T--thanks for clearing up the time stamp issue. I thought maybe school had let out early yesterday or something! ;)
Stephanie-funny, funny, funny. That's kind of how I feel when I drink a Dr. Pepper...it's like the forbidden love that I can only indulge in when I'm feeling extra spicey.
Now you've offended Jenny and she will no longer read your blog. Way to go, Sarah.
I realize that I am going to offend every Texan here but I'm just gonna say it....SONIC SUCKS! I've given it a try a few times and every time it seems like I have wait FOREVER even if I am just getting a drink. Like the other day I went to just get a large non-sweet (Again, sorry Texans) Iced Tea and I had to wait forever. When I got it, it tasted TERRIBLE (I think it was b/c it was the Grapevine one and every time I get a beverage in GV, it tastes like horrible %$$ water).
McDonalds is reliable, tasty, and the fat straws ROCK.
But Sarah, I have to say, DP stinks. I'm sure this will be the last time I can post anything since I have now offended the Texans and the Kansasans (what DO you call a person from Kansas? A Kansanite? A Kansasander? HMMMMM)
Well, Kim, thanks for making sure you dogged everyone in this comment. :c) That's what I've always liked about my blog...I really think it sparks thoughtful debate on the most important issues.
KJ -- I think the term you're searching for is "Kansan". :)
